Believe it or not, I was actually born and raised in Atlanta. I absolutely love this city, which is a feeling that is obviously shared by many, given its ever-increasing population.  I grew up in historic Collier Heights and attended Frederick Douglas High School.  I love the city of Atlanta so much that after graduating high school, I chose to obtain my post-secondary education from Georgia State University (GSU). While attending GSU, I started working for the Federal Government, Social Security Administration (SSA). I left SSA in 1986 and began working with the Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights as an Investigator until I retired in January of 2016.  In anticipation of retirement, I obtained my Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser classification in 2007 and began my second career, conducting residential appraisals.  This is when I fell in love with real estate.

Now for some interesting facts about me. I am a devout Christian who loves the Lord.  I am a devoted wife, mom of two amazing daughters and the grandmom of three absolutely adorable kids; who are my entire heart.  I am all about healthy living and currently working toward becoming a vegetarian. I enjoy music, reading, cooking, beaches, hearing a hearty laugh from an elderly person (preferably my parents who are 86 and 90 years old) and am a general lover of life.

As a native Atlantan, I have watched the city blossom from a relatively small town into the real estate hotspot of the South.  Having over 10 years of appraising experience in the metropolitan Atlanta area affords me a clear understanding of the changing landscape of the city and the value of its property.  Due to my love of all things real estate, I decided to add Real Estate Sales and Consulting to my appraising skills, bringing an amassed value to my clients.

Having appraised, purchased and sold properties in the Atlanta area, I have the necessary skills to assist my clients with managing all of their real estate procurements.  I strive to ensure the following; (1) clients get the most value for their dollar, (2) clients buy or sell properties that align well with their needs and aspirations, (3) an open line of communication, and (4) the most stress-free experience possible.

I look forward to supporting the continued growth of this great city and the dreams of home ownership, one client at a time.  From the Beltline to Buckhead and beyond, it is my goal to help my clients achieve their highest home ownership or investment potential.

If you are thinking of buying or selling property or have friends or family members that are; I’d love to help turn those desires into realities.  Allow ARDENT Real Estate to assist you with what’s potentially the most important investment decision you will ever make.
